NAPLES, FL (PRWEB) February 28, 2005
Dottie Babcock, chief operating officer of John R. Wood Realtors in Naples, reports that the companyÂs average production per associate in 2004 was $8.3 million.
The firmÂs production per agent consistently ranks John R. Wood Realtors in the top 5 companies nationwide, as compiled by different organizations including the National Association of Realtors, Realty Alliance, and Real Trends.
ÂIn 2003, our agents set a new company record marking over $1 billion in sales, said Babcock. ÂOur goal for 2004 was to increase sales by approximately 24 percent but our Realtors actually produced a 95% increase over last year.Â
According to Babcock, sales in all price segments were up substantially over 2003. The largest increases were in the under $500,000 and over $5 million categories. The over $5 million segment showed a 123% increase over last year representing 19 transactions.
ÂAt the beginning of the year we thought we were on target to beat last yearÂs sales numbers, but then the hurricanes over the summer really threw everyone into uncertainty, she said. ÂAs weÂve learned in the past, Southwest Florida is a very strong market that will continue to be desirable despite changes in our surrounding environments.Â
The agent production statistics compiled for 2004 are sales reported through Sunshine MLS in all Naples and Bonita Springs areas and do not reflect all transactions which occurred in the market. John R. Wood, Realtors is the oldest major real estate firm in the area. The company has three offices in Naples and Bonita Springs, with 240 real estate professionals and over 425 total personnel. The firm specializes in the luxury residential markets and coastal communities located from Naples to Estero, as well as upscale golf course neighborhoods within the area.
