Plastic Manufacturing Experts Launch Storage Box for Laboratory Samples

Austoah introduces a sturdy, cleaner, plastic storage box to replace inferior cardboard boxes used for storage of laboratory samples in research and hospital settings.

Matthews, NC (PRWEB) February 28, 2005 -- Austoah Manufacturing announced the launch of its first product line for the medical and life science industry. Austoahs primary business is providing consulting services for medical plastic manufacturing. Austoah is expanding their business by using their own plastic manufacturing expertise to design new products for the life science industry.

As its first product, Austoah is offering high quality, polypropylene boxes for storage of 15 ml and 50 ml conical laboratory tubes. The storage boxes are ideal for storing and transporting tubes containing clinical samples in the laboratory or hospital setting. The storage boxes can be maintained under refrigeration or freezing conditions. They can also withstand autoclaving conditions without any damage. These storage boxes can be used to replace the standard cardboard box utilized in many laboratories today. Cardboard boxes can cause particulates and higher mold counts in lab environments. These new plastic storage boxes alleviate this contamination problem. Furthermore, when cardboard boxes become wet, they break down and lose their shape eventually requiring them to be thrown out. This means that labs are continuously purchasing new cardboard boxes to replace the worn out ones. This expense and wasted time can be avoided by using Austoahs plastic storage boxes. The boxes are sold as individual units or by the case.
