She graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, and is now a writer and full-time mother living in Connecticut with her husband and three children.

Renée Plastique (a.k.a. Diane Tarshis) is a mother-in-law expert and MILDEW Containment Specialist. She has shared her humor-infused expertise on Chicago’s ABC News and WGN News, as well as on radio shows across the country.
