Finally, a Website with Women in Mind

Pocket Media International today launches a website that can be used to help keep those New Year's resolutions to lose those holiday pounds. Interactive, menu-driven videos featuring multiple volumes of each on Yoga, Pilates, and Fitness as well as Golf, Bicycling, and Bellydancing can be downloaded from the site in minutes over a broadband connection. The company also says that a home improvement series will be available in the spring and a travel guide series will be available throughout the summer.

(PRWEB) March 8, 2005 -- "I appreciated the speed that the videos were delivered. Instead of the usual 3 to 4 day wait for DVD or VHS tape, I downloaded the videos in a matter of minutes" says Leslie Cohen of Newport, RI.

Airforce studies show that learning and retention increase by 40% in an interactive environment.

"The ability to replay each video clip at the click of my mouse greatly improved my grasp of Pilates" remarks Audrey Lansing of Minneapolis, Minn.

If you absolutely have to have a DVD, the website also offers a link to an eBay store where the DVD versions of the videos as well as kids specialty t-shirts may be purchased.

In addition, the website also offers a portal with links to sites on interests ranging from women in history to a wide variety of medical topics and poetry to helpful household hints as well as many other useful and interesting topics.

"Even though I only have a slow, dial-up connection to the internet, I greatly appreciated the link in the portal section through which I found instructions on how to clean, of all things, my fireplace" says Marsha Sklar of Huntington Beach, CA.

"We've been in development of the interactive video concept since 1992 when I first saw a demonstration of digital video at a convention in Las Vegas, Nevada" says Michael Kaitz, co-founder of the company. "After filtering through three digital video technologies, countless contributions by people along the way as well as numerous delivery technologies until the high-speed internet developed, we have finally arrived at the moment when the synergy of all the above have produced a powerful method of enhanced information delivery, usefulness, retention, and enjoyment".

The first six months is only $9.95 and that includes unlimited access to the ebook catalogue which includes unlikmited downloads of the complete women's exercise and home improvement sections, the portal section as well as the chat rooms that provide the key to the development of an online community that can enhance the daily lives of the busy women of today.

Pocket Media International, Inc. is a Nevada corporation focused on developing interactive videos that enhance daily living in a readily available, easy-to-use, informative and effective online community. Founded by Michael Kaitz and Edward Scatliffe, the products have been in development since 1992 and the company has been operating since 2001, developing interactive videos on CD-ROM and DVD for businesses as well as individuals.
