The Brandies" -- The Brand Name Awards for 2005 Winning Names Announced with Judges Comments
There are many awards and competitions in the creative arts, marketing and advertising fields, but up until now, none for the name that plays such a key part in branding. Here are the results of the first annual Brand NAME Awards in several different business and product categories.

Anyone could nominate a name as an entry for a Brand Name Award by visiting the website www.brandnameawards.com, which also has some of the comments from the judges. This site also serves as a repository for naming stories, links to naming articles and resources for people trying to understand and create more great names and trademarks.

Each winning submitter and company will be awarded a Brandy" trophy and certificate. The trophy is an engraved brandy snifter.
