Solestrom Swimwear Names New CEO
Elena Richardson steps up to take over the helm at Solestrom.

Ms. Richardson is launching Solestrom's new Swim System in both wholesale and retail markets, and overseeing the launch of the long anticipated Ready-To-Wear line. Ms. Richardson's brainchild, Solestrom Swim System is a unique concept in swimwear.
Customers can be enjoy being creative using Solestrom's new interactive Build-Your-Own Swimwear system, offering trendy mix and match Lycra tops and bottoms in dozens of fabric choices with matching cover-ups and accessories. Also new for spring are SolarWeave(tm) cover-ups.
Another of Ms. Richardson's concepts, the cover-ups, which include sarongs and sun shawls offer SPF 30+ sun protection. "Sun protection is so important these days, and very little is offered in terms of fashion-forward solar protective wear," says Ms. Richardson. "We at Solestrom are environmentally and health conscious, and want to offer our wearers the best in swimwear and solar protective wear."
The Swim System and new Solar Protective Wear line will be available online in late March.
