Celtrio Announces Beta Release of Covera Zone

Celtrio today introduced a beta version of Covera Zone, its breakthrough Wi-Fi network site survey and coverage mapping software.

(PRWEB) March 4, 2005 -- Wireless LAN is becoming the wireless data access technology of choice for enterprise, home and public networks. However, in real world deployments, WLAN performance is difficult to predict and is rarely uniform within a coverage zone, often inducing dead spot problems. Covera Zone helps network engineers better understand this phenomenon and enables them to visually control wireless network quality by plotting coverage maps.

Designed to maximize wireless network engineers productivity, Covera Zone provides the following key features:
- Quick site survey
With a single click, all RF and IP performance parameters are collected on a simple computer and Wi-Fi adapter. GPS support for outdoor surveys.
- Visualization engine
Analyse and visualize survey data by plotting coverage and performance maps.
- Site report
Automatically publish a site report including maps and survey data to document a WLAN deployment.

Covera Zone runs on Windows XP laptop computers and tablet PCs with a 802.11a/b/g network adapter.

The beta version of Covera Zone is available as a free download from www.coverazone.com. The final version of the product is scheduled for release in spring 2005.
