On the heels of its successful Principal Family Fun Fest tour, Entertainment & Sports International (ESI) is pleased to announce an agreement with ÂMr. OctoberÂ, Reggie Jackson, to produce another national tour of minor league baseball teams to be titled, Reggie JacksonÂs American Classics.
Slated for April of 2006, the tour will visit over 50 minor league teams from coast to coast and will feature ten culturally significant classic American cars like the Mustang, Corvette or GTO, taken from Reggie JacksonÂs extensive collection, one of the finest in the world. Current plans for the tour are to feature additional interactive attractions including an arcade style Âsit-inÂ video game racing trailer, a baseball/auto museum, a ÂRascal RacerÂ mini-car race track for kids and more. The event will be set up outside the stadium for several hours before the game and offered free to fans that come to the game.
ESIÂs Principal Family Fun Fest is the worldÂs most extensive traveling baseball fan festival. Launched in 2004, the tour visited 53 minor league teams and two All-Star games and was visited by over 250,000 fans. The Principal Financial Group is the propertyÂs title sponsor through 2006 leading a group of sponsors that also includes Microsoft Xbox, Turner South, Louisville Slugger, Topps Trading Cards and the Fox All Access syndicated radio program.
Minor league baseball teams loved the 2004 event and ESI was able to schedule 56 teams for the 2005 tour in just three weeks. The Principal Family Fun Fest includes over 20 midway attractions including batting and pitching cages, bungee runs, giant slide, T-Ball stadium and other attractions plus the Microsoft Xbox Home Run Derby arcade trailer and the Baseball Museum which feature memorabilia from luminaries like Joe DiMaggio, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and others, before they went on to greatness in ÂThe Show.Â Also added for 2005 is the Principal 401-K Challenge which will give one fan a chance to win $5,000.

Minor League Baseball is enjoying its greatest success in history. In 2004, over 40 million fans attended games by affiliated minor league teams, and millions more saw games by independent teams.
