Star of National Lampoon Production Â?Eye for an EyeÂ? Awarded Best Lawyer/Law Firm by Charleston City Paper Readers Poll

Akim Anastopoulo, principal of the Anastopoulo Law Firm, LLC, Attorneys at Law, has been honored by the Charleston City Paper as Best Lawyer/Law Firm in the periodical’s “Best of Charleston 2005” Readers Poll. In addition to running a highly successful law practice, Anastopoulo stars as Judge “Extreme Akim” on the National Lampoon®, Inc. (OTCBB: NLPN) and Atlas Worldwide Syndications & Distributions co-produced reality courtroom television series “Eye for an Eye,” featuring Kato Kaelin.

“I am thrilled to receive this award from the city of Charleston for my service and commitment to the community,” said Anastopoulo on being chosen for this distinction. “I have a great deal of respect and admiration for this city and it is an honor to serve, and of course, be recognized by its citizens.”

“In my experience, I’ve seen some pretty good lawyers,” said co-star Kato Kaelin on his colleagues honor. “Take it from me; Akim Anastopoulo is one of the best.”

“Eye for an Eye” captures the essence of justice and puts punishment front and center. A non-traditional, no-nonsense, no-holds-barred spectacle of trial and punishment, the syndicated reality courtroom show, breaks ground and takes small claims court to places unseen since the Spanish Inquisition. Unlike any other courtroom television program, “Eye for an Eye” features the powerful and enigmatic Judge “Extreme Akim” sentencing his litigants to “paybacks” with signature punishment episodes. Akim, a former State Prosecutor for South Carolina, appears alongside America’s favorite houseguest, host Kato Kaelin, and Sugar Ray Phillips (former middleweight boxing champion of the world) as bailiff. “Eye for an Eye” delivers a gavel crack unheard of in the canon of American courtroom television.

“Eye for an Eye,” which is slated to become a strip in September of 2005, is currently airing nationwide on FOX, The WB, UPN, ABC and CBS affiliates. For more information on the series or for show times in your area visit
