Lorin Laxton, Managing Partner of FIGS Market, LLC, a specialty gourmet food market located in Cameron Village, has announced that they will host the grand opening of their store during the weekend of March 4th-6th.

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) March 5, 2005 -- Lorin Laxton, Managing Partner of FIGS Market, LLC, a specialty gourmet food market located in Cameron Village, has announced that they will host the grand opening of their store during the weekend of March 4th-6th. FIGS Market will open the doors to their full service bakery and coffee bar as well as their gourmet restaurant, which mixes international flavor with North Carolina hospitality. The grand opening will start at 11 am on March 4th and will include demonstrations by FIGS Market and Catering Works chefs, samples from various local vendors, face painting, and treats for the children. There will be live entertainment, wine, and cheese pairings on Friday night in conjunction with First Friday, as well as cookbook signings on Saturday and Sunday with authors Debbie Moose and Fred Thompson. An appetizer recipe contest will also be held on Saturday afternoon.
