Taser's stock has fallen by more than 50% in just 2005 alone. Many lawsuits are now pending against Taser International, the maker of the stun guns sold under their "Taser" brand.
"The Perfect Stock" is an entertaining book that uses fictional characters but uses Taser's actual stock price movements to show the inner workings of Wall Street. The lessons of the market are offered in a novel like book which takes the normally hyped and jargon-filled long winded words out of a book about the stock market. The book offers an insight into the wild bull run on Taser's stock price as it ran up 7000% in 52 weeks between April 2003 and April 2004.
Some of the lessons of the market are plain enough for most to see and other lessons are very subtle. Needless to say, Wall Street insiders are not going to be too happy by the portrayal of the insiders in the book. The current legal troubles Taser International is facing from pending lawsuits from many fronts just seems to lend more credibility to the characters as shown within the book.
