Third Annual 1940'S WWII Charity Hangar Dance in Honor of the 60th Anniversary of the End of WWII

The National Capitol Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force presents its third annual 1940'S WWII Charity Hangar Dance in honor of the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII. Come out and dance the night away to the sounds of the RKO Orchestra and support a great patriotic cause! Dance will be held May 14, 2005 in Leesburg, Virginia.

(PRWEB) March 8, 2005 -- The National Capitol Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force presents its third annual 1940'S WWII Charity Hangar Dance in honor of the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII. Come out and dance the night away to the sounds of the RKO Orchestra and support a great patriotic cause!

When: May 14th, 5 p.m. -- 11 p.m.

Where: Piedmont Hawthorne Executive Hangar
Leesburg Executive Airport
1005 Sycolin Road

- 10 Piece Orchestra Playing 1940s Swing Music
- WWII Aircraft on Display
- Swing Dance Instruction (6p.m. --7 p.m.)
- Swing Dance Contest
- Food & Drink
- Raffles for great prizes including rides in WWII aircraft!

The National Capitol Squadron is a chapter of the Commemorative Air Force. The Commemorative Air Force is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 organization incorporated under Texas laws for charitable and educational purposes.

Our BT-13 displays her new paint job, and our Stinson L-5 performs a low pass for the lens. Come touch history, and help us keep it alive! We celebrate the men and women who flew, built and maintained these aircraft, and all Veterans who have served.

Vintage Cars & Costumes Galore!
We encourage period dress (WW II era), and there will also be several vintage vehicles on display, as well as aircraft. Come swing the night away!

Come Fly Away!
