Warwick, NY (PRWEB) March 6, 2005 -- WTBQ radio, under the programming consultation of Bob Taylor, of Taylor Broadcasting, announced Monday, February 28th the addition of Jones Radio Networks Neil Boortz and Clark Howard to the stations daily programming. The station also has revamped its entire local talk programming line up as well and is now full time talk Monday through Friday.

Two days after the addition of the national programs and the rescheduling of the local talk programs, WTBQs competitor, WALL also in the Middletown, New York market, flipped from full time Spanish to Radio Disney.

We studied the market and selected two very strong programs as anchors to the compliment the local talk programming in the format," explained programming consultant Bob Taylor. Both Boortz and Clark are both the top rated shows at most of the stations they are on. What makes this significant is that both of these programs were not airing in the New York Metro area, so we wanted to lock them in before someone else did."

The positive response from listeners about the new programming was more than we expected," said WTBQs General Manager Frank Trautt. The phone is ringing off the hook about Boortz and Howard. We are very excited about having these two very popular programs on our station and its great to see that everyone took notice of the changes. I find it interesting that WALL changed their format a two days after us, I guess they took notice too."

Taylor Broadcasting Corporation, is a Manchester, New Jersey based company specializing in custom radio consulting and programming services for over 10 stations nationally.

WTBQ is owned by FST Broadcasting Corporation, a Rockaway, New Jersey based company that owns radio broadcasting and entertainment businesses in the New York and New Jersey metro area.
