Chelmsford Essex March 08th 2005 – SY-Fi Limited - leading innovators in the design and development of Advanced Motion Detection Systems - today announced the release of iJen, Iris and Plato - a suite of motion detection applications.

The Benefits of SY-Fi Systems

Small, fast and generic - Because of their small size the SY-Fi engines are easy to incorporate into software. Their speed makes them suitable for incorporation into limitless applications and their simple library based modular structure means they are adaptable to any type of software.

Software Integration - Our technology & libraries are written in C++.NET development language and can be integrated into existing software with great ease and speed. Some of our technology partners have referred to our libraries as “crazy glue” because of the simplicity of its application!

Cost effective, software-based - SY-Fi’s technology remains inexpensive as it is software-based, requiring no specific hardware.

Webcam utilisation and camera compatibility – iJen & Iris and future SY-Fi applications use webcams that are compatible with around 90% of existing brands - meaning that customers do not have to buy new equipment.

SY-Fi have just completed a four year focused development plan culminating in the release of the first of a number of commercial packages to be made available in 2005.

In support of this release SY-Fi will provide a number of services which will furnish developers and corporations with the assistance needed to allow them to develop tailor-made products to suit their marketplace.

Support - Three levels of support are offered. Email support is provided as standard for our commercial versions via a yearly subscription fee.
