Eroded Pride Makes News!!
(PRWEB) March 8, 2005 -- Formed in mid 2001, ERODED PRIDE is a combination of varying musical styles, diverse influences and backgrounds. Combining thumping drum beats, dark, thought-provoking lyrics, atmospheric keyboards, guitar laden heavy metal & sampling, ERODED PRIDE creates a soundscape that will invade your mind space. Jimmie Jones was born in Millington, Tennessee. Jimmie is the main force sculpting the sometimes ominous, most of the time sarcastic/humorous music, lyrics and spoken samples. His direction leads the band towards success, and the occasional eatery.
He also works closely with Busta Grooves on structuring the drum rhythms and keeping Busta focused on the music, not the ladies. Khristine Hansen-Jones was born in San Francisco, California. Khristine provides the synth backbone for all of ERODED PRIDE's songs, and also assists with the lyrical content of the songs, employing her wit, charm and wicked sense of humor to everything she does for the band. When she is not practicing, she is Busta's coconspirator. Busta Grooves is the party animal of the band. Preferring strip clubs over the practice room, but always up for a show. The odd thing is, though he hates practicing, and prefers to spend his time in the compan of the ladies, Busta never misses a beat. ERODED PRIDEs music takes the listener on a surreal journey through the funhouse of the mind to the horrors that lay in dreaming and back.
The band is influenced by techno dance rhythms and sounds as well as the seemingly dominant metal sound. They are primarily a guitar-driven band, but the samples and keyboards provide dance sounds, moody atmospherics and occasional moments of comic relief.

The sound can be compared to the sound of Rob Zombie's early works mixed with the beats of European industrial metal.
