New Delhi (PRWEB) March 10, 2005 -- Infogain Corporation, a US based IT consulting and Services Company today announced that its software development center at Noida, India, has been assessed at the SEI CMM level 5 - the highest maturity level for any software process. This assessment places Infogain in the select band of high maturity organizations worldwide that have been assessed at level 5. The achievement reflects Infogains number one priority of Customer Satisfaction, which is achieved through reliability of delivery and performance for all of its software services and processes.
The assessment was conducted in accordance with Software Engineering Institutes CMM Assessment Framework (CAF). SEI created the CMM as a model for systematically implementing development practices that continuously improve software quality. The CMM model consists of five levels: Level 1-Initial, Level 2-Repeatable, Level 3-Defined, Level 4-Managed, and Level 5-Optimizing. Organizations at Level 5 are considered to be highly mature and systematically use measurement and analyses to improve processes. The Level Five assessments involved a detailed evaluation of Infogains management, organizational and technical processes. KPMG conducted the CMM Assessment, and the assessment team was led by Mr. G. P. Rastogi, an SEI authorized lead assessor.
