LTB Audio Systems, Inc. of Teterboro, NJ Prepares to roll out itÂ?s new innovative 802.11 Wifi Stereo headphones to be named FreeZone. The new Headphone product will be able to connect via 802.11 to any enabled Laptop or PC so as to stream audio via the wireless interface.

LTB Audio Systems, Inc., known for it's true 5.1 Headphone systems, is ready to deploy a new line of 802.11 Wifi Headphones that take advantage of 802.11b or 802.11g wireless network enabled PC's.

"These headphones will produce crystal clear digital sound without wires from any 802.11 Device with an audio source." said Tony Tong, LTB's New Product manager. Many new 802.11 based audio products are coming on to the market from various vendors, LTB will be right there to handle the "Last Mile Solution"

The benefit will be to any PC user who wishes to have a simple wireless interface to listen to their media without the hassles of add-on devices. LTB has taken a broad step in developing one of the worlds first 802.11 headphones to come to market. The technology will enable more mobility for PC media as well as more portability for personal home theater PC's. LTB expects to begin shipping to retailers by mid spring and targets the FreeZone headphones below $99. The headphones will be one of several new 2.4GHz models LTB is launching over the next several months that are intended to revolutionize wireless headphone systems including two 5.1 true surround sound models. LTB Will be showing product at the upcoming E3expo in Los Angeles this May.
