Critically-Acclaimed Documentary on 'The Passion of the Christ' Comes to DVD - The Film is Becoming the Most Talked About Documentary in the Christian Community

'Impact: The Passion of the Christ', the controversial and explosive documentary on 'The Passion' opened in theaters last December and is now available on DVD.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 9, 2005 -- A new documentary feature film on 'The Passion of the Christ is now on DVD. 'Impact: The Passion of the Christ opened in selected theaters on December 3, 2004. It has stirred controversy and interest around the world as it touches on the wide gulf between the religious and secular communities around the world.

The documentary has been the subject of discussion on MSNBC, the New York Times, the LA Times, and major media outlets around the world. Among the topics investigated in the film is 'Who Killed Jesus?', 'Persecution', 'Have We Forgotten Jesus', and 'Was The Passion Too Violent'. The film tackles the subjects in the same method Michael Moore tackled 'Fahrenheit 911': Hitting the streets and talking with the common people.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Tim Chey, the movie also takes viewers around the world to London, Tokyo, Oslo, Bombay, and Bangkok in search of answers to the compelling questions as a follow-through to the movie 'The Passion of the Christ.

One of the subjects of the film, a neo-Nazi, turned after himself in for the ten-year old bombing of two buildings in Olso, Norway, two hours after seeing 'The Passion of the Christ.

Another powerful story is the exclusive interview in the maximum security prison where Chey talks with Dan Leach, the man who confessed to murder after seeing 'The Passion of the Christ'

So far, 'Impact' is having the same controversial issues arise as 'The Passion'. "Our production company gets hate-mail all the time," says Chey. "But I always take a step back and try to see them from the eyes of Jesus."
