Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 18, 2005
VCG Inc., the developer of StaffSuite® and WebPAS® software solutions for leading staffing companies, today announced the results of a comprehensive survey of its customers on VCG's products and services. The independent survey, conducted by research firm Specifics Incorporated of Atlanta, GA, used a broad sampling of VCG customers across product platforms and customer size. The resulting report awarded VCG overall marks above software industry averages, with 'excellent' marks in software support and Web support.
"We're pleased that the software support results mirror our own ongoing surveys," said Steve Taylor, President of VCG. "We have a long history of doing whatever it takes to support our customers, and the results indicate that we've been very successful at it. In the staffing industry, 'high-touch' partnerships are always the most successful, and we're glad to provide that same level of courteous and professional technical expertise through our training and support services."
Specifics conducted enough phone surveys of VCG customers to provide an 85% (±5%) confidence level in the results if applied to VCG's entire customer base. "Among the software firms we've studied, VCG was rated above average to excellent in categories of study ranging from administrative services to software support," said Brett Garrison, Lead Researcher for Specifics. "And when it came to comparing VCG's software support to the similar services they received from past staffing software vendors, all respondents said that VCG's was equal or better. This is a rare and extremely positive finding."
The survey researchers spoke to a wide cross-section of VCG customers whose titles included executive ownership, operational and system management. They responded to questions on their perceptions of the features, functions, quality and value of VCG's product and service offerings. In addition, 'drill down' questions probed customers for additional information that could be used to improve VCG's products and services.
"An independently-conducted survey like this is a time-consuming and expensive undertaking," Taylor remarked. "It digs deep enough to find those areas where we might need to improve our products, services, or processes. Even now we are working to develop an action plan to address the issues that have been brought to light. And we'll present the plan to our customers at our upcoming User Meeting in April. We're committed to the success of our customers, and continuous improvement is our means to achieve that goal."
