The Premiere Edition of the SOX Report is Now Available Online

Free Quarterly Publication Prepared by Goldstein Lewin & Co. Addresses Concerns Created by Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

(PRWEB) March 16, 2005 -- Goldstein Lewin is pleased to announce that the first issue of The SOX Report is now available online as a free publication at www.goldsteinlewin.com/soxreportFeb2005.pdf. The SOX Report is a quarterly newsletter for public corporations, private companies, not-for-profit organizations, attorneys, accountants, and others who are or who may be impacted by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX).

This issue includes articles about meeting the challenges of SOX, what the law has accomplished to date, how private companies are reacting to its requirements, and potential violations caused by high-tech copiers.

According to Paul Feuerberg, CPA, Audit Partner with Goldstein Lewin, The Sarbanes-Oxley Act has such widespread repercussions that nearly all members of the business community will be affected in some way. The effects are complicated by the historical lack of experience in fulfilling some of its requirements and the many provisions that are still open to interpretation. As a result, there is a definite need for an informative newsletter such as ours."

Mr. Feuerberg, who is licensed to practice in the states of Florida and New York, has 35 years of experience including 25 as an Audit Partner. He provides audit services to public, private, and non-profit entities and has extensive experience in SEC offerings and reporting as well as for other regulatory filings. He was one of the recipients of the 2005 South Florida Excellence in Accounting Awards.

Goldstein Lewin is listed in Florida Trend Magazine as one of the 25 largest accounting firms in the state of Florida. It offers a comprehensive range of accounting and business consulting services including corporate governance issues, cost segregation studies, eldercare management, accounting and auditing including SEC compliance; tax services; technology consulting; wealth preservation and estate planning; business valuation; financial planning, employee benefits programs and litigation consulting. The company was recently a finalist in the Best Places to Work in South Florida contest.
