Visual Studio Gets Help with Indigoware Help Publisher for Visual Studio 2003

Indigoware has released Help Publisher for Visual Studio 2003, that transforms Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 into a powerful Help Authoring Tool. No other Help tool on the market offers this level of integration with Visual Studio .NET.

London, UK (PRWEB) March 12, 2005 -- Indigoware has released the latest addition to its product range, Help Publisher for Visual Studio 2003. The product transforms Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 into a powerful Help Authoring Tool by adding all the necessary project templates, editors and import wizards to create and compile Help files from within Microsofts leading Integrated Development Environment. Help Publisher for Visual Studio is the only Help tool on the market to offer this level of integration with Visual Studio .NET.

The product adds a selection of new Visual Studio project templates to create HTML Help 1.x files, as used by most Windows applications, and MSDN-style MS Help 2.0 files. A wizard is provided to import existing content from either HTML Help Workshop projects or FrontPage and Dreamweaver authored Help topics. Both Contents and Index editors are included to create and update the Help files navigation structure. Tools are also provided to simplify the addition of context-sensitive Help to Visual C++, Visual Basic .NET and Visual C# .NET applications.

The compilation of Help topics into Help files is fully integrated with Visual Studios project and solution build system, enabling both application and Help file to be compiled as part of the same build process.

Help topic content creation in either Microsoft FrontPage or Macromedia Dreamweaver is facilitated through full interoperability with Indigowares existing Help Publisher for FrontPage and Dreamweaver products.

A version for Microsofts forthcoming Visual Studio 2005 is planned for later in the year.
