National Security Agency of Central Florida hosting executive protection / bodyguard training seminar for law enforcement, U.S. military, & security officers.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) March 13, 2005 -- The National Security Agency of Central Florida is hosting an executive protection / bodyguard training seminar for law enforcement, U.S. military, & security specialists. This three week course is formatted after the Protective Services training which various government agencies and private corporations utilize for the protection of dignitaries and VIP's.

This specialized course will be taught by Mr. Chris Gonzaga, a FDLE certified law enforcement academy instructor and NRA Law Enforcement firearm instructor. Mr. Gonzaga has an extensive background in law enforcement as a police officer and investigator, as well as served 12 years with the U.S. Army.

This extensive three week course is broken down to three phases beginning in June, on through July and August of 2005. It includes learning surveillance, threat assessments, evasive driving, firearm training, and shielding procedures. The tuition for the complete package is $1,500.00. This is a great opportunity for police officers, military personnel, and security officers who currently work in the industry protecting city council personnel, dignitaries, judges, celebrities or corporate VIPs.

The course will be held at Mid Florida Tech (MFT), in beautiful Orlando, Florida, three miles from Universal Studios and six miles from Disney World. MFT, a branch of the Orange County Public School system, is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). SACS is the respected Southern U.S. accreditation agency representing over 13,000 schools such as: University of Florida, Florida State University, Texas A&M, University of Texas, Tulane University, University of Alabama, University of North Carolina, University of Georgia, Duke University and the U.S. Marine Corps University at Quantico, Virginia.

In order to be accepted into this training all applicants must be either an active law enforcement or corrections officer, military police officer or licensed security officer in any of the 50 states. All applicants must provide photocopies of their license/I.D. or provide a letter on their agency letter head, signed by a superior.
