Tadam Jewelry introduces their own special approach to glamour, one that is multidimensional both in wearability and in style. The owner-designers, Allyson Mellone and Deborah Tasato-Kodama, have taken a transcontinental approach to costume jewelry design that transcends regional distinctions and age consciousness. Working in close collaboration, yet from opposite ends of the U.S, they have just opened their new online store on March 1, 2005.
Allyson and Deborah believe Tadam Jewelry will transmit a subtle glamour, one that is timeless and eminently versatile, to enhance a personÂs own individual style. ÂWe believe everyone has a glamorous side to them and we want to encourage and enhance that sensibility. We use vintage components in our designs to give wearers the feeling of a historic sense of place. This dimension gives every piece its own special and unique character.Â
Handcrafted in New York and Hawaii, their pieces are made of various materials from around the world. Each redefined classic piece is set in a balanced arrangement and adorned in a style that is full of historical reference, yet completely new in texture and presentation. The designers will introduce two seasonal collections every year, soon to be complimented in 2006 by a permanent special collection of one-of-a-kind pieces.
The versatility of their designs will appeal to the latest hipster as well as the business professional, either for everyday wear or for a special occasion. Whether your look is classic, modern, or funky, wearing Tadam Jewelry will be like Âadding a little glamour wherever you go.Â
