The National Professional Videographers Association has awarded its top VISTA award for wedding video highlights production to MemoryWorks Studios of Concord, Massachusetts. MemoryWorks won the award for its 2004 cinematic wedding video, "Caroline and Scott", filmed in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. The annual VISTA award competition honors the most creative and skillful professional videography of the year among its membership. The award was one of four 2004 VISTA awards won by MemoryWorks Studios, a unit of DigiNovations Video Services.

(PRWEB) March 14, 2005 -- The National Professional Videographers Association has awarded its coveted 2004 Platinum VISTA award for "Best Wedding Video - Highlights" to MemoryWorks Studios of Concord, Massachusetts. The association cited MemoryWorks for its film, "Caroline and Scott", created on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, in June, 2004.

NPVA's annual VISTA awards competition honors the most creative and skillful work of the year among its membership of professional videographers. MemoryWorks, and its parent company DigiNovations Video Services, also won top Platinum VISTA honors for Corporate Video and DVD Design, and won Gold VISTA honors for "Sam", its engaging profile of a Bar Mitzvah candidate.

"Caroline and Scott" was a team effort, blending the videography of Michael Kolowich, the editing of Benjamin Eckstein, and the project leadership and second camerawork of Kirstin Lynde into a captivating story of a couple, told through the lens of their wedding day.

The award-winning wedding video, "Caroline and Scott", may be viewed online at http://www.diginovations.com/worksamples/wedding-video-cinematic.htm.

"The cinematic wedding video form has emerged in this decade as a wonderful alternative to more traditional ways of documenting wedding day events," said executive producer Michael Kolowich. "The use of thoughtful interviews, a strong story line, and cinematic effects honors the couple with a film that is reminiscent of Hollywood movies." Kolowich's work and command of his profession recently earned him a place in the inaugural class of Merited Professional Videographers (MPV) from the Wedding and Professional Videographers Association.

MemoryWorks has recently begun pioneering work in bringing high-definition videography to the field of wedding video.

A portfolio of MemoryWorks' wedding videography may be viewed at http://www.diginovations.com/memoryworks/wedding-portfolio.htm. More information about MemoryWorks wedding video services may be viewed at http://www.diginovations.com/memoryworks/wedding-videography.htm.
