Smiddy Wroughtiron announces the opening of their new showroom featuring a range of high quality, custom designed wrought iron furniture and fittings. The new showroom, situated at Cleghorn, near Lanark, Scotland, is set to open on Easter Friday, 25th March 2005.
The new website http://www.smiddywroughtiron.com , launched on 10th March is part of an exciting new ebusiness development for Smiddy Wrought iron, working with ebusiness consultants transform-ebusiness. The website has been designed to showcase the Smiddy range of wrought iron products online, and to increase the potential reach of the company world-wide.
The first stage of website development is complete and the next phase will see the addition of an online store where customers can view, select and buy their wrought iron purchases online. Visitors to the website will also be encouraged to subscribe to the Smiddy newsletter and receive regular updates on offers and promotions.
Smiddy Wroughtiron produces a wide range of custom designed wrought iron work, including dining room tables and chairs, beds, occasional tables, rocking chairs, chaise longues, and an extensive list of accessories; candlesticks, curtain rails, coat stands, wine racks, coat stands and many more.
The Smiddy wrought iron work can also be completely customised to customer requirements, even their design, with a choice of finishes and coverings.
Smiddy Wroughtiron also offer a range of spiral and helical stairs, custom built for any location. They produce ballustrading which can be used for verandas and traditional stairways.
For outdoors, Smiddy Wroughtiron offers a range of wrought iron gates and ornamental bridges, and for more industrial applications they produce a range of external stairs and fire escapes.
To celebrate the opening of the showroom and the launch of the new website, Smiddy Wroughtiron is running a competition with a first prize of £1000 worth of contemporary wrought iron products of the winnerÂs choice.
The competition details and entry form are available online at http://www.smiddywroughtiron.com, with a competition closing date of 27th April.
