Audiobook Rental Company Expands Fulfillment Capacity to Meet Demand
A huge surge in membership of Audio-to-Go, its audiobook rental by mail service, has forced Talking Book World, the worlds largest audiobook store retail chain, to increase its warehousing space by two thirds to house its booming Internet retailing operation.

With Audio to Go a customer compiles a list of up to 25 audiobook titles they want to listen to from the companys database of over 17,000 titles. The first three available selections are then sent to the customer using the reliable United States Postal Service in a returnable prepaid package. When the customer has finished listening to their first selection, they just pop it in a mail box and in the meantime they have another two audiobook selections to enjoy until the next one on the their list arrives. This rotation process allows customers to always have a book on hand to listen to.
Audio to Go is based on a combination of Talking Book Worlds no due date preferred programs that are sold in blocks of 3, 6 and 12 months and the successful rental programs offered by The Corporate Library, the companys training and development division.
