Nashville, TN (PRWEB) March 17, 2005
Renderosity and AAPPL, the publisher of award winning art books, are working together to create the next generation of fine digital art books.
The ÂCall to Artists is now open at the Renderosity Art Community. Interested artists are invited to submit their work to be considered for publication in the next edition: ÂRenderosity: The Best of Digital Art due out in spring of 2006. Selected artists will have the unique opportunity to be published in a lavishly printed book with worldwide distribution through Renderosity, AAPPL, bookstores, Amazon, etc. Artwork may be submitted through August 31, 2005.
This volume will be sent to at least 2,000 ad agencies, key newspapers and websites for review. In addition to the high-quality paperback edition, there will be a limited number of hardback "Collector's Editions" published. All published artists will receive a free hardback "Collector's Edition". All participants will be entitled to a 50% discount on the pre-sale purchase of the book.
ÂWe are really excited to be able to offer this unique opportunity to digital artists, said Tim Choate, Bondware President, ÂNot only will the selected artists receive a hard-back collectorÂs edition of the book, they will also have their work seen by thousands of people across the globe. Renderosity has worked for many years to promote artists and to facilitate the acceptance of digital illustration as a true art form. Digital art has definitely come of age.Â
ÂItÂs a publisherÂs dream to find so much talent in one place! AAPPL President, Cameron Brown continued, "This is a serous project but it's going to be great fun and I am really looking forward to getting started."
