San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 17, 2005
Heliographica Press, an independent San Francisco publisher, has launched a new book publishing solution that it's calling Seeds Press. It allows authors to publish books for as low as $12.95 a quarter or $35 a year.
The Seeds Press solution includes an ISBN, interior and cover layout, and registration in Books in Print, which is the most comprehensive database of books. Authors also get free marketing education and services. Books are sold through direct sales channels, such as Amazon Marketplace, and authors can add distribution, from Ingram Book Group, for as low as $99, making their books available to 90% of retail bookstores.
Heliographica Press expanded its existing offering of custom covers and custom book layouts by accepting more "do-it-yourself" titles with the Seeds Press solution. "We wanted to launch a publishing solution that would be affordable to more authors and that would also teach them how to market their books. Publishing a book is exciting, but it's only the first step in a career as a working writer. Having your book sell is the true reward." Jacob LeWinter, Publisher
The Seeds Press solution is a great entry level program. But Heliographica offers many add-on services and features that complement the Seed Press offer. Authors can also opt for Heliographica's full-featured custom program called the Gold Program that includes all of the necessary, custom add-ons. This is a great solution for authors who know they want a custom cover and interior and hardcover and paperback formats as well full distribution and other critical services.
