The following is what she had to say about this project:
"Since this is National Women's History Month, I thought I'd put in my two cents worth and share some of my favorite WWII working women photos. My personal admiration cannot be put into words for the strength and character of women throughout our history.
"From the wives of our Founding Fathers, who lost everything but their responsibilities when their husbands took stands to make us a nation, through the female unsung heroes throughout the western migration, to those who faced down ridicule and rejection as part of the suffrage movement, through housewives filling vital roles in World War II ... to now,... If not those bold women who came before, where would we be today?
Personally, I salute them. And I give thanks to Father in Heaven that these women had the God-given intelligence, strength, and fortitude to forge onward. If you'd like to see my special "Salute to Women" Web Page, here's the link: http://www.vintagejewelbox.com/Salute_to_Women.htm "
