This biennial conference attracts the nations most renowned experts in the field.

(PRWEB) March 19, 2005 -- The federal Office on Child Abuse and Neglect (OCAN) and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) invite journalists to attend the 15th National Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect (NCCAN). This biennial conference attracts the nations most renowned experts in the field.

WHAT:   The federal Office on Child Abuse and Neglect (OCAN) and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) invite journalists to attend the 15th National Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect (NCCAN). This biennial conference attracts the nations most renowned experts in the field. More than 2,000 public officials and policy makers, researchers, child and family service workers and community organizers from across the nation will come to Boston to share the latest research and information about the prevalence of child neglect, physical and sexual abuse and the most effective prevention and treatment programs. OCAN will release its report, Child Maltreatment 2003, with the latest national and state level data on child abuse and neglect.
