John R. Wood Realtors Launches new Golf Website
Phil Wood, president and C.E.O. of John R. Wood Realtors in Naples announces that the company has unveiled a new website, www.TeeUpFlorida.com, which provides golf enthusiasts the latest links and community information on over 160 country clubs and golf courses in Southwest Florida.
Naples, FL (PRWEB) March 21, 2005 -- Phil Wood, president and C.E.O. of John R. Wood Realtors in Naples announces that the company has unveiled a new website, www.TeeUpFlorida.com, which provides golf enthusiasts the latest links and community information on over 160 country clubs and golf courses in Southwest Florida.
John R. Wood Realtors previously administered a similar golf site with limited course information focused primarily on Naples. Due to the companys expansion to other geographic areas including Estero, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda and the barrier islands in the past few years, the name was changed to reflect that growth as well as include the number of new courses that have been established in recent years. A number of domain names have been purchased by the Wood firm and will direct users to the same address. These include: TeeUpNaples.com, TeeUpBonita.com, TeeUpEstero.com, TeeUpFtMyers.com, TeeUpCapeCoral.com, TeeUpPuntaGorda.com, TeeUpMarco.com, TeeSouthFlorida.com, and TeeUpSouthwestFlorida.com.
The newly revised site is completely different from our former site," said Wood. One significant addition is that all the country club information is now in a searchable database."
According to Wood, users can now search by country club name, general area (Naples, Bonita, Estero, etc.), bundled golf communities, golf course rating, slope, length, or designer, number of holes, non-golf course communities (usually tennis clubs) and price range of golf membership or social membership. Information on golf course architects, membership alternatives and reciprocals in also available.
Of significant importance for surfers on the site is that upon completing a particular country club search, the user can immediately look at available residences or lots within that country club by clicking on a button. Once on the detailed listing page, users can see multiple photos and save selected properties to a hot list. They can also map any property on the new GoogleTM map program.
Steve Aldrich and Tom DesRochers of the Wood firm, and subcontractors Rental Bay, were responsible for overseeing the creation of the new site.
John R. Wood, Realtors is one of the oldest major real estate firms in the area and currently operates six offices from Bonita Springs to Naples with 250 Realtors and another 175 management and support -staff. The firm specializes in the luxury residential markets and coastal communities located in Southwest Florida, as well as upscale golf course neighborhoods within the area.
