Long Live Crime Signs Fresno's Own SparkeJet.

Los Angeles based record label Long Live Crime Records has signed SparkleJet to their label. Band is slated to release new record in September.

Los Angeles based record label Long Live Crime Records has signed SparkleJet to their label. Band is slated to release new record in September.

Considered one of the great rock and roll bands in California, SparkleJet has been around for a few years but never commercially released any of their cds. This solid three piece has just inked with Long Live Crime to release their earlier music this June. Both albums “Bar Guest” and “This Years Model” are critically acclaimed have only been available locally at shows and on the bands website.

Currently the band is finishing up their newest release that is being produced by legendary producer Steve Albini. That record is scheduled to come out in the fall.

The band will be doing extensive touring over the summer to promote all the music they are about to put out.

“I am a big fan of all the music that comes out of the San Joaquin Valley and am very excited to have SparkleJet as a part of the Long Live Crime Family.” Says General Manager Susan Ferris.

Head of Sales and Marketing Reece McLaughlin feels the same way, “This a great opportunity for us to put the great rock and roll sound of California out to the masses.”
