Goldstein Lewin & Co. Appoints Michael Fisher, CPA Senior Manager of Accounting and Tax Department

Fisher returns afer working as Chief Financial Officer of a private firm for two years.

(PRWEB) March 23, 2005 -- Goldstein Lewin & Co. is pleased to announce that Michael Fisher, CPA, has rejoined the firm as Senior Manager of its Accounting and Tax Services (ATS) Department after serving more than two years as Chief Financial Officer for a private South Florida company.

During his previous tenure with Goldstein Lewin, Fisher assumed a leadership role in the firms ATS Department and also headed the firms mentoring program for professional employees. In that capacity, he assumed a leadership role in professional recruiting, mentoring, and scheduling.

A member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Public Accountants, Fisher earned the prestigious Certified in Florida Sales and Use Tax (CFST) designation. CPAs who receive the CFST credential have demonstrated their knowledge of sales and use tax laws and rules and their application of the tax to specific industries.

Fisher, who has been a CPA since 1987, has particular expertise in strategic tax planning and small business consulting. He received a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida.
