The Invited Inn of Midway Utah, has received the coveted and prestigious Four Diamond Award from AAA for providing exceptional guest accommodations, excellent service and an elegant atmosphere in the year 2005.

The fundamental hallmarks at this level include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service, and attention to detail."

Susi and Bill Stern are the proprietors of the Invited Inn, located in the lovely Heber Valley in Utah. "I got the vision for a Bed and Breakfast while living in Europe some years ago," said Susi. "I wanted to bring this idea back to the western states but couldn't get anyone who wanted to participate in her dream. It took a serious skiing accident laying Bill on his back for a few weeks to get him to see her vision for a small, intimate, but up scaled Inn with lots of amenities."

Susi has quite the history in food service and preparation having worked for Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland and Lowry's Corporation in their 5 Star restaurant in Corona Del Mar Calif. Bill has the skills for running the office and finances. Together they make an effective team.

The Inn has five elegantly themed bedrooms with private baths. All have fireplaces, steam showers, towel warmers, featherbeds, down comforters and pillows. The four deluxe rooms have private balconies, private saunas and double whirlpool tubs. The guests enjoy afternoon "teatime" on the day of check in, with specialty beverages and hors d'oeuvres. The inn also offers an "endless cookie plate," movie with fresh popcorn and beverages, espresso bar and refrigerator with sodas, water, and fruit juices.

"In the morning we make sure our guests leave satiated with our full gourmet 'no lunch' breakfast," said Susi. "All of these amenities are included in the room rate and make for a very romantic getaway."

The Invited Inn is located at 1045 North Homestead Drive and on the 2nd Tee of the Homestead Golf course.
