RoofHelper, (http://www.roofhelper.com) an online resource for consumers covering all aspects of roof replacement and repair has recently taken a step to increase their value to the end user.
ÂWe have always strived to offer solid roofing information and advice to the average home owner. said Scott Randall, spokesman for the company. ÂWe felt it was time to offer our visitors more than just the standard help they might find on any number of other websites." "We wanted to go beyond offering articles on materials, styles, and of course the traditional terms glossary.Â
So in December of 2004 much discussion and testing began on how best to offer up to date information on new roofing techniques, materials and general industry news. A blog format was finally chosen largely because of the ease of updating information.
According to Randall, ÂThe RoofHelper blog has been well received and offers new information to our regular visitors as well as offering additional benifits.Â
Three months into this project approximately 10% of the visitor pool to RoofHelper finds the site by organic search engine traffic direct to the blog.
ÂOur hope was to simply offer timely relevant information and improve our value as a consumer resource," according to Randall. "Any boost in visitor traffic is simply a bonus."
RoofHelper is an independent roofing guide and is not owned or operated by any roofing manufacturer or industry entity.
