KidKase Provides Parents with a New Solution for Keeping Kids Busy During Long Road Trips

Kase Company recently introduced a new travel activity case with a fold-out activity table, both strong and large enough to allow kids to use a laptop computer, portable DVD player, or any electronic learning product while riding in the backseat.

Rumford, RI (PRWEB) March 25, 2005 -- The Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) estimates that a record 281 million Americans will be hitting the road this spring for business and leisure travel. About one in four household trips, or 26%, will include children as families travel to attend social/family events, swim at the beach or visit theme/amusement parks. As a result of the growing number of families traveling more than 50 miles this year, many parents will be looking for innovative travel products designed to keep kids busy and productive during long trips.

Kase Company recently introduced a new travel activity case with a fold-out activity table, both strong and large enough to allow kids to use a laptop computer, portable DVD player, or any electronic learning product while riding in the backseat. Weighing less than 3 lbs, KidKase can support up to15 lbs of weight on the fold-out table while attached to the seatback, allowing children an unlimited range of activities. A combination of high strength materials and advanced design techniques allow KidKase to achieve a high strength to weight ratio while providing a crush-proof envelope around valuable electronics potentially stored inside.

Attaching KidKase to the headrest is quick, secure and can be accomplished by most children. An ergonomic design allows kids to easily reach the interior of the KidKase while the fold-out tray is extended. Children can store coloring books, toys, travel games or homework and still have room their favorite drink stored in the side pouches. To facilitate the activities on the fold-out table, the interior of the KidKase contains removable, molded plastic trays which neatly hold markers, crayons, LeapPad cartridges and even a flip-up nightlight which extends play during night driving.

Backpack straps and a soft rubber handle allow children to take the KidKase just about anywhere. While waiting for a sibling at an after school activity (sports, dance, girl/boy scouts, etc.) children can sit and play on any surface by simply extending the support legs prior to deploying the fold-out activity table. A raised table design, approximately 6 inches from the ground, helps keep the play surface clean and fun in virtually any outdoor setting. A durable, easy to clean, cordura fabric exterior will hold up to years of travel and comes in many fashionable colors.
