Florida Nursing Students Association and AfterCollege Healthcare Partner to Create Online Destination for Largest Audience of Student Nurses in Florida

AfterCollege Healthcare will power the Florida Nursing Students Association web site and Job Resource Center, delivering relevant employment information to over 3,000 association members.

San Francisco, CA (HRmarketer/PRWEB ) March 29, 2005 -- AfterCollege Healthcare, the nations largest career network specializing in healthcare recruitment at the college and alumni level, and the Florida Nursing Students Association, serving Floridas largest audience of nursing students, have partnered to create a new online destination and job resource center for the association. The Florida Nursing Students Association (FNSA) website, located at http://www.fnsa.net, will act as the portal and communication tool for approximately 3,300 nursing students throughout the state of Florida. Members will be able to stay up to date on FNSA events with tools such as the FNSA Message Board, Announcements, and FNSA Calendar. Members will also receive relevant, targeted employment information from AfterColleges network of employers through the FNSA Job Resource Center, located on the FNSA web site.

The FNSA is a pre-professional organization created to help prepare Florida's nursing students for the assumption of professional responsibilities. "AfterCollege's services significantly expand the online resources available to our members" said Willa Fuller, Executive Director of the FNSA. "The FNSA Job Resource Center will serve as an invaluable tool for students as they search for their first job".

We are excited about this collaboration and the ease with which Florida nursing students and employers will now be able to connect through the FNSA web site" said Marc Dee, Director of Partnerships and University Relations for AfterCollege. The Florida Nursing Students Association becomes the 40th state student nursing association to join the AfterCollege network.
