Survivor: Palau -- What was Stephenie Thinking?

Individual's voting strategies can easily turn the tables on their prospects of surviving.

(PRWEB) March 30, 2005 -- According to a poll on CBSs Survivor site, Stephenie is one of this seasons most popular players, second only to Tom and that gap is shrinking (80% to 79% as of March 24). Before Episode 6 aired, she was also the odds on favorite (as voted on by the fans) to be the Sole Survivor, this time just edging out Tom. But after her vote at the most recent Tribal Council, the only poll she is likely to top is 'Whos Going Next?

On www.survivorpw.pw, writer Ben Aaronson comments that Stephenie may have stuck her neck out at the wrong time. Throughout the game, she had consistently voted with the majority, even after planning to vote out someone else. She made the effort to always be on the winning side of the vote.

However, in last weeks episode, Stephenie went against the grain, at least initially, by voting for Ibrehem, thus causing a tie. But in the tie-breaker, she went with the majority again, and voted out James. Thus, the result was the same as if she had just voted out James in the initial vote. But in sticking her neck out, she may have severed ties with others in her tribe, especially Bobby Jon. Will this be the cause of her demise?
