Survivor: Palau -- What Have You Done for Me Lately?
What is more crucial to the success of "Surviving" on the island of Palau? Overall contributions to the team, or how well you performed in the most recent Immunity Challenge?
(PRWEB) March 31, 2005 -- In Episode 5, when Ibrehem blew the Immunity Challenge, his head was immediately put on the chopping block without any regard for his past performance. Now this past week, in Episode 6, James took the hit because of how badly he performed in the recent Immunity Challenge.
On www.survivorpw.pw, writer Lisa Montalto comments that the 'what have you done for me lately attitude is hard to live with because no matter how hard youve worked or no matter how well you have done, it all comes down to that one most recent moment that can make or break you." Lisa wonders if that makes a person work harder or is it defeating?
Every move counts for the Ulong tribe. They want to win so badly, and have no margin for error. So naturally, when the tribe loses, they direct their anger and frustration at the person who caused the loss. Is this fair? Is it reasonable? James had no problem dumping on Ibrehem, but seemed genuinely shocked when he was voted off.
What exactly does it take to win Survivor? Long time fans like Lisa are still trying to figure that out. Read more of her thoughts on the subject at www.survivorpw.pw. Only the strong survive.
