“These awards are a great honor and recognize the hard work of many people associated with The Peninsula,” said Larry A. The distinguished panel of judges, all from nearby states, included a builder, an architect and two sales and marketing experts.

The Peninsula’s Model Home Village will open on Memorial Day weekend with 11 furnished model homes. Several fun and festive activities are planned at the community throughout this summer. Additionally, The Peninsula has broken ground on the first single-family villas in The Mooring neighborhood along with our custom homes. The first single-family villas in the Veranda neighborhood will break ground in April, with the Conservancy villas and townhomes breaking ground later this spring. Sales are also well ahead of forecast, as The Peninsula has closed on over $10.5 million in custom homesite sales in the past 60 days and registered over $80 million in sales to date.

The Peninsula will feature an array of housing options and will include over 1,400 residential units upon completion. Anchored by the Peninsula’s Lakeside Village Center, the $35-million amenity package will complement the luxurious housing options and will include Delaware’s first private Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, managed by Troon Golf, high-end retail shopping, restaurants, a wave lagoon, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a beach, an eight-court tennis complex with stadium seating, a nature center and outdoor fire pits.

The Peninsula On The Indian River Bay is establishing a private rental program as a way to give vacationers a chance to experience the high-end lifestyle of The Peninsula. The rental program will provide Peninsula homeowners the opportunity to rent their units to the general public. Because membership packages are attached to the homes, renters will also have access to the same amenities and activities as the homeowners they are renting from. This rental program will offer destination travelers a close-to-home alternative where they can experience luxurious accommodations and amenities without the travel.
