Juxta Digital (http://www.juxtadigital.com), a new-media consultancy specializing in publishing, education, corporate communications, and entertainment, announced today the launch of the newly redesigned website for Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia. (http://www.jchs.edu).
Juxta Digital's redesign for the website makes it easier for current students, prospective students, alumni, faculty, and parents to find quickly the content they are looking for. Using Juxta Digital's content management system, Synopsa, to manage the content, Jefferson College's Communication Director is able to manage hundreds of pages of content without using HTML. The site itself automatically creates side-bar jump links, updates the site map, updates navigation menus, creates printer-friendly pages, updates the month-by-month calendar, makes content available to the search engine, sends out email newsletter communications to registered users, and provides other essential functions such as a form builder and a scholarship calculator.
"We looked nationwide for a content management system that was affordable and straight-forward," says Diane Hailey, Director of Communications. "Synopsa gives us exactly what we need. It's easy to use, the interface is simple and well-planned, and yet it does everything we need it to."
"We have a special focus on working with colleges," says Juxta partner, Michael Sutula. "Our team works well within the collaborative environment of the university. More importantly, we understand how to reach diverse audiences of potential students, current students, parents, and educators." Other recent Juxta educational clients include Columbia UniversityÂs School of Continuing Education, the University of Virginia, and St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn and Patchogue.
