Pop singer and recording artist Adam Barta has finally announced the release of his full LP, arriving in stores late Fall 2005. This follows his successful 2004 release of I Told Her, a maxiÂsingle put out by VC2America Records on the air both in the U.S. and in Europe. The yet untitled LP is slated to contain 10 tracks including AdamÂs hit dance song Dirty Girls. The music for the album is being produced by Brad Vander Ark of The Verve Pipe and Baby NYC. To promote the album, he will be doing a miniÂtour of the North and South east with stops in CT, PA, NJ, NY and FL. He will be kicking this off with a show on Saturday, April 23rd at 10 PM in Williamsport PAÂs new hot spot, Club Z, located at 321 Pine Street (570) 322 Â 6900. There will be CD giveaways containing tracks from the upcoming album and more.
Adam is a Bronx native, who released his first single, I Told Her, in 2004 on the VC2America Records label. Also notable for his offÂBroadway, film and television roles, he has co-starred with Latina superstar Tessie Santiago, Mario Cantone, Jeff Probst, Amy Sedaris, Amy Poehler, and others. I Told Her has been on the airwaves in the U.S. and Europe. Over the past year and a half, Adam made a background cameo on the Britney Spears In The Zone TV special, released a music video featuring a cameo by MTV HitÂs Dorian Davis, and most recently performed at the Knitting Factory, NYC hosted by Real World: Paris alumna Leah Gillingwater. With a rapidly swelling fan base, he is quickly rising to the ranks of pop stardom.
As an entertainment complex, Club Z has a star studded diva lineup as part of an upcoming Concert Series. Dates are set for nationally-known dance divas Pepper Mashay, Martha Wash (Weather Girls), Thelma Houston, Gioia (Expose), Kristine W, Janice Robinson, Evelyn ÂChampaign King, Sandy B, Lady Bunny and more in the upcoming year. Club Z is located at the rear of 321 Pine Street in downtown Williamsport, just over an hour drive north on Route 15 from the Harrisburg area. It is next to two large Parking Decks for plenty of free parking after 5.
