New Laser Module for Sawmills

Laserex Laser Diode Modules are suitable for use in rugged industrial environments where a bright laser line is required.

(PRWEB) April 6, 2005 -- The Laserex LDM-4 is a compact, rugged and reliable laser diode module that operates in the temperature range of -10 to +40C. Its design is ideal for use in harsh industrial environments.

The LDM-4 laser diode module along with a line generator is suitable for use in Saw Mills where a bright laser line is required. The laser module has an output power of 8mW and the diodes have a Mean Time To Failure of 10,000 hours. A number of mounting options are also available. The laser module comes with a 12 month warranty.

The LDM-4 laser module performs exceptionally well, by helping to reduce waste thus increasing throughput and the Saw Mills operating efficiency. The laser module comes with a 635nm Ultra Bright diode that operates off 3-6V DC. There are a number of different line generators available that produce a bright, crisp highly visible laser line, allowing for precise alignment of the saw with the wood. There is also the option for the laser to come with a Uniform Intensity Line Generator that produces a laser line of equal brightness along the entire line.
