XemiComputers (http://www.xemico.com/) released new version of its Audio Notes Recorder, Windows program that can record sound from any source available with the computer's sound card and through a friendly and familiar user interface.
The program now comes with support for unattended scheduled recordings. That means you can create a task to launch the program at a future moment, start recording from selected sound source, then also stop recording and exit the program. This was made possible through specialized program control interface allowing the program launcher called Smooth Program Scheduler to talk to Audio Notes Recorder and automate its actions.
Standard features of Audio Notes Recorder include transcription playback mode, exporting to WAV/MP3/OGG/EXE, editor for making cut-outs, endless loop playback, mouse wheel support and a selection of keyboard shortcuts accessible while working in other programs.
Audio Notes Recorder costs 19.90 USD for a single license with quantity discounts available. Free evaluation period is 42 days. For special deals contact XemiComputers directly through its website.
Smooth Program Scheduler is freeware that provides two levels of automation for other programs. On a basic level it can start a chosen program at a scheduled time. Advanced level offers full control and automation providing that the program is built for it  like Audio Notes Recorder described here.
