Photographers and Hot Models from all 13 Midwest States shoot it out at the 2005 Midwest Models Expo. To raise money for the American Cancer Society and to see who will win our Grand Prize.
Southfield, MI (PRWEB) April 7, 2005 -- The date, October 8th, JMB Promotions will be production the 2005 Midwest Models Expo.
The place, the Holiday Inn of Southfield Michigan will be brisling with the flashes from strobes of photographers as they widely turn and shoot the models walking the runway to see who will walk away with the $250.00 cash prize. Now stay in focus here, as the expo opens at 10 AM and runs till 6 PM, the fashion competition will be held in one room while the exhibitors and photo contest will be going on in the adjoining room.
To add madness to mayhem, during clothing changes for the princes and princesses of the fashion competition, there will be a special feature brought to us by those people from the north, FAME fitness Models (http://www.fameworldevents.com). FAME pre-2006 models competition will be run intermittently during our fashion competition.
Photographers will not need zoom lenses as these hulks of fine human specimens of physical wonderment flex their biceps and triceps upon our stage. It will be a point and shoot extravaganza as all our fashion, fitness and even child models walk our stage and compete for the Grand Prize of $250.00 and other valuable prizes. So we are here to pump you up baby?
By showing off, models will help generate funds of which a portion collected will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Our goal, with your help, is to reach the $5,000.00 mark. As cancer has touched everyones life in one-way or another, the founder of the Midwest Models Expo, James Bryant lost his stepson, Beau, at the age of 24 to cancer in 2002. We understand the devastation that cancer causes and are happy to do our part to support such a important cause," states James. He also mentioned that this is the chance for Midwest models to come out and gain exposure, work on their profiles, learn from their peers and most of all have fun! They get to come help a worthy cause and help people sample a new career. Not to mention this also allows them to meet local companies who deliver services to the modeling and photography industry," adds Bryant which helps improve the local economy."
We are looking to find the Next Midwest Top Model." Could it be you? Folks from All 13 Midwest States are encouraged to attend.
Some of the models that have been in attendance of the past models expos and conferences have gone on the bigger things. We had one model that attended our show that ended up in Playboy as one of the "Girl Next Door" models. Others have appears in national magazines such as TEEZE Fashion and Supermodels Unlimited magazines.
Just one of the many letters of thanks they have received from previous shows reads as follows:
"James, Thank you for ALL of your HARD WORK! The modeling expo, to me was a huge success! I met lots of new contacts for my business. I look forward to any other events that you may do and will support them in any way that I can. On a personal note, it was great to finally meet you in person, thank you again for your hard work and the efforts and support from your family as well. - Oliver Cole FANTASY ON FILM www.xsellpage.com/FOF 313-320-0627"
We know you have you seen the 'Who wants to be the next top model ' TV show, we say watch out world cause here comes the 2005 Midwest Models Fest", comments Cheri Crawford, the executive producer and sales force behind the expo. These type of shows are a hot ticket for local models to work on etiquette, social skills and develop confidence before moving on to a larger venue such as New York or California."
'A hot ticket? You bet! They are offering one luck model the chance to win $250.00 Cash Grand Prize, plus other models have a chance to win a myriad of other prizes that are donated by reputable businesses from the Midwest area. We have had in the past" starts Bryant, either a fashion show or expo, but this year we will be offering three big tickets, all at one time. Fashions show; exhibit area and a photography contest.
Come do your part to help find a cure for cancer and help support someones dreams of becoming the Midwests Next Top Model
Among the list of companies that have helped sponsor the expo in the past include; TEEZE Magazine, the magazine of glamour fashions and models and Supermodels Unlimited, fashion and competition magazine. Also the aid of such on-line services such as One Model Place and MuseCube, the biggest models data warehouses on line today.
Already some companies have come forth to volunteer their services such as American Speedy Printing of Howell Michigan who is donating a generous assortment of brochures, entrance forms and other various items to this worthy cause.
As we all know, time passes quickly and booth space and model registration is limited. So dont delay, visit http://www.midwestmodelsexpo.com/ or call James Bryant at his office between the hours of 10 AM to 1 PM Monday thru Friday.
The 2005 Midwest Models Expo and previous shows running since 1999 have been produced with care to provide a safe place for models to grow and to help others to help themselves by teaching, studying and practicing the art of self promotion.
