Funworld Leisure, a new Family Entertainment Centre situated in Greenock, Inverclyde, Scotland, opens in June 2005.
Funworld LeisureÂs 20,000 square feet facility is a new concept in family entertainment, the first of its kind in Scotland, offering a fun day out for all the family.
Toddlers and under 5's can enjoy a soft play centre which is equipped with lots of fun things to do. Over 5s can explore a giant Pirate ship - The Giggling Racara - and three level play area, complete with air cannons, astro slide, spiral slide, rope bridges and more.
Teenagers and adults can play air hockey, snooker and pool, or try their hand on a climbing wall. Mums and Dads can sit back and relax in the cafe area, or retire to the Quiet room to peruse the latest News, or surf the internet.
There is also a football and basketball pitch, and for the more energetic a giant blow-up obstacle course.
Funworld also has party rooms which can be booked for any family celebration. Various party plans are available, including invitations, a play session, party food , thank-you notes, party bags, and a T-shirt (which can be personalised) for the birthday child. Adult food platters are also available.
Funworld Leisure also announce FunFit, a range of classes for Children and Adults. There is a choice of Dance & Exercise, Adult Fitness, FunFit for Kids, Rugby, Football and Basketball coaching classes and Spinfit.
According to Sharon Murdoch, Managing Director of Funworld: ÂWe are really excited about this new venture, and hope that many people from all over the UK will come along and experience a great day out. We also welcome guests from other countries, visiting Scotland on vacation.
At the moment, we have completed our staff hiring and have assembled a great, well qualified team. We are also busy getting the center ready for our opening day.

Funworld Leisure have also introduced a Fast Track entry form on their website, where families and groups can register to get Fast track entry to the Funworld Leisure complex, avoiding queues, along with a range of other benefits and a Fun World car sticker.
Each week until the official VIP opening ceremony, a car registration number of the car spotted with a Fun World sticker will be announced on the website. Car owners will also receive VIP opening day tickets.
