The equipment became available as a result of the Eckerd acquisition by CVS. CVS/pharmacy (NYSE: CVS) is the largest drug store chain in North American with more than 5,400 stores in 36 states.
DataMax received over 130 tractor-trailers of equipment in their technical facility located in Boca Raton, Florida. Among the equipment included in the purchase was IBM point-of-sale terminals, Symbol Technology scanners, Lexmark printers, and Verifone payment terminals.
