Mystery Club Scores Again
Announces publication of the third in the Mystery Club series of cozy mysteries written by retired Professor Harley Sachs.
(PRWEB) April 9, 2005 -- Imagine half a dozen elderly ladies who read mysteries written by women and then solve crimes in their own retirement building. Harley Sachs, a retired professor, has written three Mystery Club novels, the third of which, "The Mystery CLub and the Hidden Witness" is now out from Wings ePress.
The stories take place at the Rose Plaza in Portland, Oregon where Sachs spends his winters in a tiny studio apartment with his wife Ulla. Every summer he returns to their hundred year old house in Michigan's Upper Peninsula to write another book.
Sachs has been a free lance writers almost fifty years and has seen nearly a dozen of his books published. The latest grew out of his task as manager of the Plaza's employee gift fund. What if the manager embezzled from it? How could he be caught? And what if the manager was also in the Witness Protection Program, WITSEC? What then?
