Designed for uncomplicated performance, the new balances have only those features necessary for routine weighing along with a few design and performance extras that help eliminate common nuisances that can arise in laboratory, industrial and educational settings.
Leading those extras is the new Frameless, Flip-Top Draftshield. Users frustrated by spilled materials will welcome the easy-access weighing chamber of the Adventurer SL as the draftshield is designed without the need of top rails. As a result, users have unsurpassed access to the weighing platform to clean up spills or to place or retrieve materials to be weighed, greatly reducing spillage and virtually eliminating waste.
In addition to not having to worry about navigating tight spaces, all doors, including the front and back panel on the Frameless Flip-Top Draftshield, are simple to remove and replace, for fast and easy cleaning.
Adventurer SL incorporates Ohaus' new QuadraStance design. QuadraStance design incorporates four adjusting feet to provide superior footprint stability on any surface. QuadraStance helps prevent rocking and tipping, enhancing the weighing stability of the balance, and keeping the Adventurer SL level and accurate.
Additionally, Adventurer SL has been designed with an up-front level indicator eliminating the need to look behind the balance during the leveling process. A quick glance at the up-front level indicator helps to ensure that the balance is level prior to each use.
Housed in a compact and efficient design, the Adventurer SL is available in several precision models ranging from 150 x 0.001 grams to 8100 x 1 gram. Two analytical models are also available with a capacity of 65 or 210 grams. Simple to operate, the Adventurer SL has a seven segment LCD and two-button keypad. The balances offer three simple application modes (weighing, simple parts counting, and percentage weighing) with 17 US and international weighing units.
