Its mission is to provide an outlet for authors to display their work, generate sales and receive invaluable feedback, while also providing a much-needed resource to the online African-American community.

The brainchild of authors Gena L. Garrison, Ebony Farashuu, and Web designer Kelli Little-Costley, PrivateLibrary.net offers booklovers the unique opportunity to read quality work from new, self-published, and unpublished writers.

PrivateLibrary.net was designed to appeal to a multitude of literary tastes ranging from Mystery/Thriller, Romance, Science Fiction, Erotica, Inspiration, Poetry, and Christian Fiction. Each section is updated weekly to give the reader an opportunity to advance with the story while building suspense as to what will happen next.

A message board is provided to enable the reader to discuss what they have read as well as interact with the authors, giving welcome praise and criticism in order to help an author improve his or her craft.

PrivateLibrary.net offers a 3-day trial subscription for $3.95. Monthly subscriptions are $9.95 while a six-month subscription is $49.95.
